The Sancerre Chavignol wine from France has a very interesting color. It is super cloudy and almost looks oily but at the same time it looks like a full colored and full bodied wine with a very golden color. There are some wonderful aromas ranging from a deep earthy, minerally aroma to a fruity, complex aroma. There's a lot going on with this wine and it's really fun to pick things out. There's also some lemon, limestone and a touch of spice, but not spicy spice, but more of a subtle spice. There might be some hints as well of apples and pears. The wine has a medium to full bodied taste with lots of lemon in the mouth and more apple and pears There is a full acidic flavor but it is well balanced at the finish. This wine is amazing with a big acid and big finish. It sits so nicely on your lips and on the tongue The finish is super long, especially for a white but it's very crisp and super enjoyable but deep and complex at the same time.
