This special anniversary blend by Dalton is chiefly composed of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz from the Elkosh vineyard in Israel's Galilee, near the Lebanese border. The blend is rounded out with the addition of Grenach, Merlot, and Mourvedre grapes sourced from other Galilean vineyards and aged 18 months in oak barrels. The wine possess a nice garnet color and a wonderful and complex aroma. Big fruity aromas are accompanied with big oak flavors with a nice touch of freshly grated black pepper. The taste is as powerful as the aroma, with a big taste, velvety texture, high acidity, and good tannins that build at the end. This is definitely a wine with backbone. For full flavor, it is recommended to let this wine breath for several hours before drinking.
